Y E A R S

With a degree of pride, this year’s catalogue celebrates our 60th year of manufacture and supply into the AV industry. From small beginnings – literally £30 capital, working out of a wooden shed in a village outside Oxford, we have grown as the AV industry has expanded. In the early days the only equipment in common use were slide and film projectors and strange things called Epidiascopes! Fortunes changed for us with the introduction of television for schools and with it the supply of trolley’s for TV and VCR combinations across the whole of the UK. Today, our range of products is vastly more diverse and ever-growing. Along with our catalogue range of products we manufacture a constant churn of custom made items. Integrators entrust us with many projects which are often time critical as well as needing to be aesthetically designed and moreover, safe. We welcome daily enquiries for ‘one-off’ non-standard items, right up to larger scale projects, for which our facilities at Oxford are well geared from prototyping to the final approval of designs. None of this would happen without the dedication of our hard working and experienced team, some of whom have been with us for over 25 years. Here there is a real mix of people, in our factory, in product design and in our technical sales team, with young blood being trained in the processes of manufacturing and customer support. Our expertise and willingness to produce the best is demonstrated on a daily basis with our many customers.

UNICOL products have been designed to meet BSI installation specification standard BS8590. All goods are sold subject to the Companies terms & conditions of sale, a copy of which is available upon request or can be downloaded from our website www.unicol.com. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate at time of invoice. Mechanical items have a 10 year design &manufacturing warranty. Electrical parts are covered by a 12month return to base warranty. UNICOL products are the subject of continuous development and we reserve the right to improve designs or change specifications without prior notice.
